Did You Know…

Diverse Breeds

There are over 340 recognized dog breeds worldwide, ranging from tiny Chihuahuas to massive Saint Bernards.

Super Sniffers

Dogs have an incredible sense of smell, estimated to be tens of thousands to even 100,000 times more sensitive than humans. They can detect scents underwater and differentiate between identical twins.

Doggie Dreamland

Just like humans, dogs dream! You might notice them twitching, kicking, or making noises while asleep, indicating they’re likely dreaming about chasing squirrels or playing fetch.

Pawsitively Intelligent

Dogs are known for their intelligence. Some breeds, like Border Collies and Poodles, are considered among the smartest, capable of learning hundreds of commands and tasks.

Tail Wagging Communication

Dogs communicate not only through barks but also through their tails. A wagging tail doesn’t always mean happiness; it can also indicate nervousness, aggression, or excitement, depending on the context and speed of the wag.

Puppy Love

Dogs experience feelings of love and attachment towards their owners. They release oxytocin, often referred to as the “love hormone,” when interacting with humans, fostering a strong bond.

Paw Preference

Similar to humans being left- or right-handed, dogs can also be left- or right-pawed. Researchers have found that a dog’s preferred paw is linked to their temperament and cognitive abilities.

Yawn Contagion

Dogs can “catch” yawns from humans, and vice versa. This phenomenon is believed to be a sign of empathy, as yawning after seeing someone else yawn is often linked to social bonding.

Diverse Vocalizations

Dogs have a wide range of vocalizations beyond barking, including growls, whines, and howls. Each serves a different purpose, from signaling danger to expressing excitement or seeking attention.

Ancient Companions

Dogs have been living alongside humans for thousands of years. They were one of the first animals to be domesticated, with evidence suggesting domestication as far back as 20,000 to 40,000 years ago. Today, they continue to be cherished companions and working partners for people around the world.

What My Clients Say

Ralph

I can’t recommend Anyango and Jacob enough, in working with my standard dachshund Ralph, his behaviour has improved no end, his lead walks, he no longer pulls, and has proven he can listen and do tricks too, in the past year and he has the best time, a home away from home when boarding with them knowing he is loved and cared for puts your mind at rest whilst being away

I was in desperate need for my lovely puppy to be trained. She would not come when called, she pulled on the lead, she was very disobedient and will full where ever I went. She would also run towards other dogs. I was at my wits end to try and get her to behave. I knew I had to get some help. Anyango, Droopy Chaos, came to my assistance and helped me tremendouly with my new puppy. Anyango was patient and caring and the change has been nothing short of miraculous. Anyone with a new puppy that needs training should call Anyango.

Thanks so much!

Bonzo

Droopy chaos
Where do we start, after moving from Stevenage to Harlow and having a lot of changes effect bonzo we were concerned we would find the right dog walker. This was due to bonzo beginning to show signs of reactivity and being a bigger do we were concerned there wouldn’t be many options. From the initial get go we instantly knew anyango and Jacob were our perfect fit! They’ve made so many changes with bonzo and are great on working on his focus and attention. They’re just dog people too always happy always there to help ! Have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions as would extremely recommend.

I have worked closely with Droopy Chaos for the past few years attending the reactivity classes and pack walks in Harlow.

I own a 4 year old male GSD x Malinois who has struggled with dog reactivity, anxiety and lack of confidence with other humans after poor experiences in the past during vet visits – being a rescue he missed the crucial early stages of socialisation.

Due to my dog being a large breed, along with being a working dog it had been a struggle for me to find a trusted person to walk and train my dog for some time until Droopy Chaos started taking him out for confidence boosting walk and train sessions, which has not only helped my dog build confidence but myself also.

juno

Anyango is an absolute dream of a dog trainer – we got Juno as a rescue, and after a few weeks at home she started getting very reactive and we were having real difficulties with walking her. I researched a few trainers and found them all to be quite rude and condescending, but upon asking openly for help on social media Nyangi contacted me, we were invited to a free training session so they could meet and assess each other, and ever since I’ve only felt supported by Nyangi and her team! Juno has developed a great relationship with her, she stays with Nyangi once a week, and they do lots of training together, and I get photos and videos of Juno having the best time. Nyangi has been very reliable, knowledgeable, supportive and flexible when I’ve had things I needed to move around. I’m so glad to have found her!

Highly recommend doggy socials.

Sunday group sessions are well controlled and managed by the whole team. A safe location with plenty of space is always chosen and communicated through the group on Wednesdays to give you plenty of notice on where you are meeting.
The team use radios to communicate during group walks to warn us when there are on coming dogs/ cyclist/ families etc. All dogs are kept on leads at all times, distance is constantly prompted and dogs are not to meet at any time to ensure the safety of all dogs and people. The whole team are very friendly and understanding when it comes to your reactive dog. You do not feel embarrassed or out of place at any time.
I have seen a huge improvement in my dog since starting these sessions. I have gained confidence to walk in busy places I would never have attempted in the past, I was always afraid of what the public would say or how they would react.
The team have provided me with many tips, which has really helped and enhanced my relationship with my dog. I have also done a few 1.1 sessions, these have been hugely beneficial and allowed the trainer to identify what’s really going on and tackle the problems head on. Again, I highly recommend them!!
